Her career in movies commenced during the era of soundless movies. Such movies were called silent movies. She was also able to appear in some movies with sound which started gaining popularity since the thirties.

Her career as an actress commenced during the 1910s and since then she worked actively till the forties.

Some of the movies of which she was a part include Northwest Outpost in 1947, Temptation in 1946, Two Smart People in 1946, Camilie in 1936, South Sea Rose in 1929, Her Own People in 1917, The Road To Love in 1916, The Heart Of Paula in 1916, The First Man in 1911 etc.

She passed away in 1970 in December. Her death took place in Orageburg in New York in United States.

Her works as a stage personality include Antony And Cleopatra, The Fifth Column, Her Man Of Wax, Nona, The Social Register, Pagan Lady, Lulu Belle , Mima, The Heart Of Wetona, The Son Daughter etc.

She was the wife of Sidney Blackmer, an actor.
